Position Description
The Marketing Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing communications strategy for Carlsmed. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can effectively manage integrated marketing campaigns, lead communication initiatives, and drive brand awareness in the medical device sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing communications, great leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities
Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communicationsplans to support the launch and ongoing promotion of the company and its
products, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and messaging.
Campaign Management: Lead the creation, execution, and analysis ofintegrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media,
content marketing, email marketing, and traditional media.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioningacross all communication channels. Oversee the development and evolution of
brand guidelines and ensure adherence to them.
Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality marketing materials,including sales collateral, email campaigns, social media posts, digital marketing
assets, and website content. Collaborate with internal and external teams to
create compelling and informative content that resonates with both HCPs and
patients.
Event Support: Collaborate to execute visuals and materials used at industryevents, tradeshows, and conferences.
Patient Awareness Marketing Support: Based on strategy, developpatient-facing marketing materials (brochures, digital assets, etc.) for practices to
educate patients about Aprevo and the Patient Focused model of custom
implants for better outcomes in Spine Surgery.
Metrics and Reporting: Track performance of marketing campaigns, andprovide regular reports to leadership on KPIs such as engagement, lead
generation, conversions, and ROI.
Compliance: Ensure all marketing communications comply with industryregulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of marketing communications experience, orcombined education/experience shall also be considered.
4+ years in medical device industry in a marketing communications roleSpine or Surgical software experience is a plusAbility to travel up to15% to support marketing initiatives and events if necessaryExcellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing workpriorities
Polished communicator and presenter with excellent listening, teaching, andprogram evaluation skills.
Strong understanding of brand positioning and experience developing marketingstrategies that effectively differentiate products in a competitive market
Proven ability to create compelling, results-driven content for a range ofchannels, including digital, print, and in-person marketing
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.Experience with both professional and patient marketing within the industryEffective interpersonal interactionsProficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

Compensation
We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our benefits reflect our investment in the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families. including paying 100% of monthly healthcare, dental & vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching and unlimited PTO. The expected pay range is: $90,000 to $120,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
