This position is a locally based hybrid role with no relocation or travel stipend offered.
What you will doIn this role you will report to the Executive Director, Portfolio Communications, Corporate Affairs, and will be responsible for shaping the strategic communications for how the U.S. Business Operations shows up internally and externally to our key audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Implement our insights-driven strategic communications plan inclusive of employee engagement and thought leadership opportunities aligned to our corporate business goals.
Collaborate with our Internal Communications, Social Media and Media Relations colleagues, as well as colleagues in Advocacy Relations and communications colleagues within the Global Commercial Organization.
Create dynamic and engaging messaging and multimedia content that will be used during internal and external events, social media channels and earned media.
Use data and analytics to drive impactful, actionable communications that inspire and drive business results.
Employ the latest methodologies and technologies to determine the best communication vehicles to reach intended audiences.
Measure and report impact of all activities through regular reporting and retrospective analyses.
Partner with cross-functional colleagues including senior leaders.
Serve as a manager for one staff member.
Manage agency partners and vendors when needed, as well as corresponding budgets, across a range of projects.
What we expect of youThe Corporate Affairs professional we seek has these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of public relations, corporate communications, marketing, or creative/content development experience
Master’s degree and 7 years of public relations, corporate communications, marketing, or creative/content development experience
Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of public relations, corporate communications, marketing, or creative/content development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to deeply understand business challenges and priorities and develop actionable programs that integrate soundly with business objectives.
Experience creating and implementing strategic communication programs for a complex, matrixed organization.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to productively navigate a challenging and dynamic environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills; hard-working, team player and self-starter; serious commitment to hard work and excellence.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to distill complex issues and information into simple, compelling and relevant messages.
Demonstrated experience using social media and digital collaboration tools for professional communication.
10 or more years of diverse experience in public relations or corporate communications, with internal communications expertise paramount.
Experienced in development of creative content in various forms including video, written, PowerPoint, digital and social media assets.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
