Social Media Marketing & Digital Production Manager

Senior Social Media Marketing & Digital Production Manager , based on experience) to join our dynamic marketing team. This individual will manage all social media platforms, create high-quality video and podcast content, and drive engagement with SDAR’s mission, events, and services. The role will also support the event marketing team, requiring flexibility to work after hours and occasional weekends for event coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience with video editing tools, podcast management, Instagram Reels, live feeds, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Real estate experience is preferred, and proficiency with Sprout Social software is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Management:Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth for SDAR.

Instagram Reels & Live Feeds:Create dynamic and engaging Instagram Reels and live feeds to showcase SDAR events, initiatives, and educational content. Stay ahead of trends to ensure SDAR’s presence remains fresh and engaging.

Video Content & Editing:Utilize video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software) to create high-quality video content for social media, including event highlights, member testimonials, and educational snippets. Manage the production of video content from planning to publishing.

Podcast Management:Oversee SDAR’s podcast strategy, including content planning, recording, editing, and publishing episodes. Manage podcast promotion across social channels and monitor audience engagement.

Event Marketing Support:Collaborate with the event marketing team to provide social media coverage for SDAR events, including live posting, video production, and engaging event attendees through social media.

This role requires work after hours and occasional weekends for event coverage.

Digital Production & Creative Execution:Collaborate with the marketing team to manage end-to-end production for digital content, including video, podcast, live stream, and graphic materials that align with SDAR’s brand and objectives.

Content Creation & Curation:Create and curate engaging and relevant content, including posts, videos, graphics, stories, and Reels, that align with SDAR’s brand and voice. Tailor messaging to resonate with REALTORS and the real estate community.

Campaign Development & Execution:Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns, including live events and podcasts, to promote SDAR’s services, events, and membership benefits. Track the success of campaigns using social media analytics tools.

Community Engagement:Engage with SDAR’s online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly. Foster conversations that enhance the reputation of SDAR and build relationships with members, followers, and partners.

Cross-Department Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams (events, public relations, education, membership) to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms. Act as a key collaborator across departments to ensure seamless promotion and integration of SDAR’s services, podcasts, and initiatives through social media and digital production.

Analytics & Reporting:Monitor social media performance using Sprout Social and other tools to track engagement, follower growth, reach, and overall effectiveness. Provide regular reports to the Director of Marketing and recommend improvements based on data insights.

Collaborations & Partnerships:Identify and foster partnerships with influencers, community organizations, and other real estate professionals that align with SDAR’s mission and value propositions.

Brand Consistency:Ensure all social media content, including Instagram Reels, live streams, podcasts, and videos, is consistent with SDAR’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging for REALTORS and the real estate industry.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation:Stay updated on industry trends, platform changes, and best practices—especially for video content, podcasting, Instagram Reels, live video content, and other innovative media formats—to ensure SDAR remains a leader in social media marketing and digital production within the real estate sector.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

5+ years of social media management experience (8+ years for the Senior Manager role).

Preferred:

Experience in the real estate industry or with real estate-related organizations.

Preferred:

Experience using Sprout Social or similar social media management software.

Preferred:

Experience managing live video content, Instagram Reels, podcast production, and video editing.

Required:

Ability to work occasionally after hours and on weekends to support events.

Skills & Abilities:

Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns across various platforms, including Instagram Reels, live streams, podcasts, and video content.

Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Strong writing and content creation skills tailored for social media platforms and podcasts.

Knowledge of social media analytics and ability to interpret data to inform strategy.

Experience with social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).

Familiarity with community engagement, live feed management, podcast management, and reputation management.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Strong collaboration skills for working across departments and teams.

Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong communication skills.
