Senior Multimedia Production Specialist

Primary Function
Work as part of a creative team at a fast paced, best-in-class multimedia production facility within a corporation. Produce creative video, photo, graphic/animation visual storytelling that's aimed at reaching key internal and consumer audiences. This position will have a customer service orientation with a professional presence and superior client relationship skills a must. This function will be supporting all manners of contemporary, on-location, studio and field production in various cross-trained crew roles/duties to include, but are not limited to: Producer, Producer/editor, Short documentary producer, PowerPoint producer, Podcast producer/editor, Script writer/copy editor, Video editor, Motion Graphics artist, 3D modeling/animator, Cartoon Illustrator, Digital content manager, Digital content wrangler, Director of Photography, Field Video Camera/Editor, Portrait photographer, Documentary photographer, Makeup artist and Voice over artist.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategically conceive, design and execute a wide-range of corporate multimedia solutions through conception, production and post-production. This includes creative direction for custom projects destined for either internal or consumer facing audiencesPartner with corporate multimedia leader, production staff to engage with business partners and develop project scopes, deliverables, deadlines and budgetsParticipate in creative multimedia content brainstorms/strategy sessions with corporate multimedia leads/team members. Partner with peers representing other business unit areas on cross-functional projects/work streamsExecute all or some aspects of multimedia production from intake through completion including scheduling, equipment decisions, travel, detailed storyboarding, writing, assembling assets, shooting, editing, graphics/animation, photography and advanced post production work streamsRecord HD images and sound on location and in the field or studio using a variety of professional-grade video/still cameras and other technologies. Take direction, adjust shots quickly and accurately to assure angles are stylistically appropriate and capture necessary informationIn addition to visual storytelling, as needed, perform technical editorial functions including, but are not limited to, content importing, rough cuts, graphic design & integration, audio sweetening, color correction and final deliveryAssist with the ongoing maintenance and organization of all digital media assetsUnderstand and comply with all corporate mandated branding, policies, guidelines and procedures of production facility within a corporation. Work closely with client ensuring quality and consistency on the final productProvide client with real-time, detailed project budget trackingAdhere to client's approved custom project intake triage and processesWork in the most proactive, creative and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to this corporate clientAssist with other projects, travel as needed, other duties as assignedSkills & Qualifications
Proficient in modern digital video production, equipment and processes. Willingness to be cross trained in multiple positions with a proactive attitude to jump in where help is neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills; Energy, enthusiasm and initiativeCommand of modern, professional-grade video and DSLR cameras, field lighting and audio, video editing, digital capture/storage platforms, file formats, still photography, graphics/animation and multimedia distributionMust have a commitment to excellence and to ongoing education in video, photo, editing, graphic/animation production and to the mastery of their craftCustomer service orientation; professional presence and superior client relationship skillsAbility to maintain high level of professionalism in a corporate environment; Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people to establish productive, ongoing relationshipsFully capable of accurate time and resource budgeting, assigning effective and efficient resources for various project typesAbility to switch from one project to another quickly and effectively; ability to quickly prioritize and reorganize events, projects and resourcesAbility to prepare cost-effective production budgets and apply creative solutions; stay within budgetDP/Camera operation skills (field interviews/b-roll)Proficient in both Mac & PC operation. Solid familiarity in several areas of related postproduction software including Avid, Sorenson Squeeze and most software found in the Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e. Premier, Photo Shop, Photo Shop-Light Room, After Effects and Illustrator)Familiarity with professional-grade, digital content storage platformsProficient in MS Office including Outlook and ExcelExperience and comfort with PowerPointExtreme attention to detailEducation & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Video/Film Production, Business or a related field is expectedLeadership initiative and experience7+ years' experience in digital agency, broadcast creative or corporateCompanion demo reel or portfolio documenting experience
