Job Summary: The Client Maritime Division (MRD) seeks a data analyst to support division port planning, development, and other initiatives. MRD serves as a resource for state seaports and waterways, highlighting multi-million dollar funded projects and communicating the multi-billion dollar portfolio of infrastructure needs. This role will focus on geospatial data analysis, data development efforts, and business analytics for various high-priority projects. Familiarity with foundational database concepts, SQL, custom queries, and geodatabase management is required. The position involves working with Microsoft 365, Esri's Online Suite of Web Products, and Tableau to manage data exports, feature services, dashboards, and visual content. The role may also involve developing presentations, graphics, and supporting application development and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and update GIS databases and cartographic products. Develop custom tools, applications, and dashboards using ESRI software, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and other languages. Support automation processes between database systems and web environments. Utilize ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS to create, update feature services, and web mapping applications. Provide coordination, advice, and support for geospatial projects and programs. Communicate effectively with vendor teams. Apply knowledge of Esri web app suites, including Field Apps, Dashboard, Survey123, Web App Builder, and Story Maps. Required Qualifications: 4 years of experience creating and updating GIS databases and cartographic products. 4 years of experience developing custom tools and dashboards using ESRI software and programming languages (Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL). 4 years of experience supporting automation processes between databases and web environments. 4 years of experience with ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS for maintaining feature services and web applications. 4 years of experience providing coordination and advice on geospatial projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with vendor teams. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience with LRS systems, data entry, and analysis. 4 years of experience with the ESRI Product Suite. 2 years of experience with Geocortex Software Suite and/or FME Software Suite. 2 years of experience with Microsoft Product Suite, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python and Arcade. 2 years of experience with web programming languages like HTML, JavaScript, or C#. 1 year of experience with survey and mapping methodologies.
