OverviewWe are the developer of the blockbuster Halo series of video games. As part of Xbox Game Studios, the Halo franchise encompasses games, television series, novels, comics, licensed collectibles, apparel and more. We are looking for talented new voices to join our team to build the next generation of games and experiences in our award-winning sci-fi universe. The Hard Surface Artist will specialize in creating high-quality hard surface assets for our weapons, vehicles, props and architectural elements. This role requires a solid understanding of hard surface creation process, construction story of how objects are built in real life, and how to translate that into a AAA product. You'll work closely with gameplay designers, riggers, animators and various other artists to deliver hard surface art. Work closely with the directors and leads, ensuring that hard surface quality and consistency is maintained across all gameplay content. Actively seek out, incorporate, and provide feedback to and from peers, both internal and external. Proactively identify and advocate for the team's needs. Help with planning and scheduling to deliver production needs on time.
