Provide excellent customer service and strive to exceed expectations and needs of internal and external clients. Ensure efficient and proper set up, operation, and removal of audio-visual equipment for both meetings and events. Assist with coordination of group presentation, audio, video, and lighting needs. Meet with function contacts before meeting to instruct in proper equipment usage and address any additional needs. Troubleshoot and problem solving in high-stress environment while working alongside and partnering with VIP clients and presenters. Monitor ongoing functions on the floor. Occasionally serve as a dedicated, in-room technician for events requiring audio visual. Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment as needed. Store and maintain equipment inventory, identify technical challenges or equipment requiring repair/replacement and report to supervisor. Serves as customer liaison in absence of Audio-Visual Manager Qualifications
3 years of Audio-Visual experience preferred. Related degree, training or certification is a plus. Firm knowledge of presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote application. Firm knowledge of Video Conference applications such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Microsoft Teams. Audio Visual installation and troubleshooting experience. Lifting up to 50 pounds Developed English skills both written and orally.
