Graphic Designer

At Safework Inc., we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.

Responsibilities/DutiesWill combine artistic skill and technology to produce computer generated artwork in a variety of media.Work closely with other team members, clients, and stakeholders to produce high-quality designs that meet deadlinesCreating materials by use technology and creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts and designsDesigning brochures, billboards, brochures, web pages, advertising for a variety of media formats and annual reportsGenerating drafts and mockups of proposed designs for the client to review and make revisions as requestedFollow technical specifications to produce precise and accurate artwork.Create digital images, such as digital photography and video, for use in print publications, on the web, and for other marketing purposes. Digital media specialists may also research and recommend emerging digital media technologies.Create the look, layout, and features of a website, and handle maintenance and additions.Capture high-quality photographs for various projects, including events, portraits, product shoots, and more.Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each shoot. Filming: Capture high-quality video content for different projects, including live streaming eventsPlanning: Plan and set up video shoots, including lighting and audio equipmentEditing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, adding special effects, computer graphics, and closed captioningCollaboration: Work with creative teams and clients to develop video conceptsOrganization: Manage video archives and organize footageContent creation: Creating and publishing content for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TwitterScheduling: Creating and updating social media posting schedulesAudience engagement: Responding to comments, liking tagged photos, and monitoring site metricsBrand awareness: Building brand awareness and promoting brand exposureMarketing: Coordinating with other professionals to market a brand and its products or servicesStrategy: Updating social media strategy to keep up with current trendsReporting: Creating and interpreting reports on social media performanceCollaboration: Collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actionsContent management: Create, edit, and remove content, including blog posts, images, videos, and reviewsWebsite development: Create new pages and functionality, and implement plugins and code solutionsPosition Requirements

Requirements

A minimum of 3years experience in a graphic design role.Extensive knowledge of print, electronic, and graphics media.Superior artistic and design skills.Extremely proficient in image editing and digital animation and illustration software such as Adobe Creative Suite.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to plan a project based on interactions with the client and in accordance with the clients requirements.Excellent time management and planning skills.Strong creativityStorytelling skillsAbility to work with various teamsAbility to make subjects comfortable in front of the cameraExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailKnowledge of current video editing software
