We are seeking a passionate and organized individual to join our team as a volunteer Social Media Manager to help lead the planning and execution of a life-changing swim retreat for Black women overcoming aquaphobia.Responsibilities:
Posting and Scheduling Existing Creatives : Develop engaging and informative captions for existing creatives that aligns with our organization's goals and target audience. Knowledge of SEO and the importance of alt text are a plus.Platform Management:
Oversee and maintain our social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Experience with Loomly, Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite are a plus.Community Engagement:
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive interactions with our online community.Analytics:
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with Team:
Work closely with other team members to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.Excellent writing and communication skills.Creative and innovative mindset.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for our organization's mission.Benefits:
