Overview:USA Diving, the National Governing Body for the sport of diving, is seeking an innovative and passionate Communications and Marketing professional to join our team at the home office in Fort Pierce, FL. Key Responsibilities:•
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate to develop and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing plan that aligns with USA Diving's mission to grow the sport, enhance brand visibility, and engage with key stakeholders, including athletes, fans, sponsors, and the media.•
Brand Management:
Champion USA Diving's brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning that resonates with diverse audiences from athletes and parents to sponsors and international partners.•
Digital Marketing:
Implement digital marketing efforts, leveraging social media, website optimization, email campaigns, and emerging AI-driven tools to maximize engagement, outreach, and brand awareness.•
Content Creation & Storytelling:
Create compelling and engaging content, including but not limited to videos, articles, and social media posts, that highlight the achievements of USA Diving athletes and programs, as well as behind-the-scenes insights into the world of competitive diving.•
Media Relations:
Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, building and nurturing relationships with sports media, journalists, and influencers to secure positive press coverage and manage crisis communications when necessary.•
Sponsorship & Partnerships:
Collaborate with the business development team to identify and engage potential sponsors and partners, creating innovative marketing campaigns that drive revenue and enhance the visibility of USA Diving and its athletes.•
Event Promotion:
Collaborate to develop marketing efforts for USA Diving's national events, including competitions, Olympic Trials, and community outreach programs, ensuring maximum exposure and engagement at every level.•
AI Integration in Marketing:
Utilize AI tools and analytics to optimize marketing strategies, improve audience targeting, and enhance personalization efforts in communication. Foster innovation in marketing through cutting-edge AI technologies.•
Team Leadership:
Serve as a key stakeholder within a close-knit team, focusing on marketing and communications efforts while fostering a collaborative, creative, and supportive environment. Work closely with colleagues across departments to drive continuous improvement and innovative solutions.•
Performance Metrics:
Utilize commonly accepted KPIs and regularly assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, communications strategies, and social media outreach through data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a proven track record of success in brand management and digital marketing.• Demonstrated experience integrating AI technologies into marketing strategies, with a passion for staying on the cutting edge of digital transformation.• Strong work ethic, with the ability to inspire and motivate.• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for storytelling.• Knowledge of the sports industry, ideally with a passion for the Olympic movement.• Experience in media relations, including handling press inquiries and crisis communication.• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, Google Analytics, and content management systems (CMS).• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving results.
