In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving proposal development to support our growth in the Waste and Energy sectors. Collaborating closely with the Waste Business Development Leader and Sector Marketing Director, you will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials, showcasing our engineering capabilities and experience with impactful messaging. You will also lead the development of client plans that drive market expansion and revenue growth.The ideal candidate is someone who embodies the qualities of ownership, professionalism, leadership, responsiveness, adaptability, a passion for continuous improvement, with a deep appreciation for teamwork. If you take pride in your responsibilities, uphold the highest standards of professionalism, and inspire others through your leadership then this is the role for you.In the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Lead or support development and implementation of client development plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share, as assignedDevelop and manage proposal schedules and confirm complianceLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsHelp file proposal and presentation material upon submittalSupport management of marketing systems and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboardsMaintain inventory of branded materials used for client visits, conferences and recruitingMaintain accurate project and resume data in business development systemsAdminister implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of AuthoritySupport content marketing campaigns to strengthen our brand, increase our visibility, and showcase our thought leaders through collaboration with internal communications team.Articulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantagesCoordinate and support large, internal meetings (in-person and virtual)Plan and fulfill conference sponsorship benefits, as neededSupport solicitation of formal client feedback and debriefsArrange for professional photography on projectsMonitor client and industry websites for solicitation status
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldKnowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to professional services marketingDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffPreference given to local candidates
Required QualificationsA minimum of 2 years relevant industry experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
