Work in the Future of Fitness. BODY20 is a new boutique fitness studio offering personal training with FDA-cleared Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology. One 20 minute workout is equivalent to hours in the gym so you can build muscle and burn calories without the need for heavy weights and impact on the joints.

As a Studio Manager, you will lead all sales and operations for the studio -- driving new member growth and delivering a great member experience

Responsibilities:

Sales

Accountable for meeting studio sales revenue goals and daily activity targets (e.g. 100 calls to leads a day)

Sell memberships to leads who come in for a demo workout

Develop relationships with local businesses to plan and execute offsite marketing and sales events to generate more leads

Fitness Training

Become a certified trainer with the Electric Muscle Stimulation device (no previous fitness or personal training experience or certification required) so you can fill in and train members when required due to coach scheduling issues

Lead the team of coaches, exchanging best practices and driving continuous improvement

Hire and train new coaches, managing their certification process

Operations:

Manage and oversee all aspects of the studio's daily operations

Create and maintain the staff schedule

Handle member service escalations and issues

Ensure daily operational processes are followed (e.g. member service & follow-up, cleanliness, invoicing/billing)

Implement and roll out promotions and other corporate programs in the studio

Evaluate employee performance and create improvement action plans as required

Manage social media channels

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff

Requirements:

Passion for health and wellness

Previous experience in a management role

Previous experience in a sales role, with an excitement for sales

Strong leadership and communication skills -- be a first one in, last one out leader who will lead by example style, inspiring and motivating the team but also willing to step into any role temporarily when required

Comfort working on multiple concurrent activities, while still keeping an eye on the details

An energetic and friendly disposition

Certification in personal training or fitness instruction is a plus

Role Logistics:

Full time role - spend 40+ hours in the studio weekly including one full weekend day. This is not a remote or work-from-home role.

Compensation consists of base salary ($45,000) plus bonuses for meeting and exceeding revenue and profitability targets, with a path to $80K+ total compensation

This position will be an employee of the local BODY20 franchisee owner, not BODY20 corporate. You’ll get the best of both worlds – a supportive local owner and support from BODY20 corporate
