Job Description

Drive the development of integrated marketing and brand communications for the Wipers category. Responsible for conception, delivery, and analysis to achieve objectives within a variety of mediums (advertising, online marketing, literature, sales support / point-of-sale materials, promotions, public relations, packaging, etc.) adhering to budget and timelines. While gaining an understanding of Wipers and automotive product groups, you’ll develop new ideas for scalable content with consistent focus on brand tonality, user journey and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrated marketing communications (50%)

Based on cross-functional goals, lead the development, strategy, and execution of communication campaigns and marketing plans for B2B and B2C customers.

Collaborate with business unit and product area owners to develop, coordinate, and deliver effective marketing communications in alignment with go-to-market strategy. Analyze brand funnel and user journey to improve brand preference and positioning.

Participate in, and support customer meeting and other events as required.

Content concepts and creation (25%)

Lead regional content creation - strong emphasis on conversion to digital.

Coordinate the organization of traditional and digital media assets.

Support and enforce applicable brand guidelines.

Stakeholder and agency management (25%)

Develop metrics and evaluate campaign results, analyze information, provide reports and make CIP recommendations.

Support supervisor in overall brand vision strategy and the value creation process for the organization.

Maintain and grow collaborative relationships throughout the organization (especially product marketing, digital team, sales and category management) to maximize the objectives of targeted projects.

Assist internal communication activities via coordination between business units and PR agency.

Coordinate brand communication initiatives with agencies and other outside suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications

3-7 years of marketing, communications, and/or brand management experience

Demonstrated experience driving multi-channel communications programs

Knowledge of online and social media along with creative, graphics and production process

Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills

Demonstrated creative copy writing skills plus good working knowledge of layout, design and graphic arts

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business objectives

Very good understanding of user touch points and decision making

Excellent problem-solving, planning, organization, and reporting skills

Proactive, results-oriented and highly organized, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlines

Strong computer and technical skills to utilize various content management systems, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, Google certifications a plus

Automotive industry background a plus

A successful candidate will have broad and solid knowledge of marketing fundamentals, organization skills, aptitude for using or learning marketing technology solutions, enthusiasm to learn, create, and the ability to work and deliver on multiple projects at a time.

INTERACTION

Consistent interaction and transparency (i.e. clear OPLs & status updates) with management, marketing/creative team members and product managers along with sales and category management. Process and deliver information and feedback from various touchpoints with empathy and understanding.
