Job Description Power BI Report Writer - (Mostly onsite/someHybrid) Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Writer. This role will be responsible for creating and managing interactive, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI and requires a deep understanding of data analysis and data visualization best practices. Key Responsibilities: Report Design Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements and provide critical insights Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in reports through thorough data validation and quality checks Optimize Power BI reports for performance and user experience Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and data visualization to continually improve reporting capabilities User Training Provide training and support to business users on navigating and interpreting Power BI reports Effective Communication Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and deliver reports that provide actionable insights Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field Proven experience as a Power BI Report Writer, with a portfolio of reports/dashboards that demonstrate your expertise Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner Proficiency in DAX and Power Query M language Experience with data privacy and security practices related to business intelligence Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Power BI certification Experience with other BI tools and analytics software Knowledge of Azure Data Services Familiarity with agile development methodologies Benefits PTO Health Insurance Vision Dental Eye 401K Life iNsurance Long/Short term disibility
