Database Report Writing Analyst-Associate

Job Description
The Database Writing Report Analyst will play a pivotal role in advancing student success within the School of Nursing (SON) at UT Health San Antonio by developing and maintaining data systems, generating reports, and conducting analysis to support data-driven decision-making. This position will ensure the accurate collection, management, and dissemination of student success data, enabling administrators and faculty to improve retention, progression, and overall student outcomes. This position is grant funded with the US Dept of Education Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program.
Under direct supervision, responsible for assisting with database report writing and analytics.
Responsibilities
Creates, designs, coordinates and runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools based on end-user needs.Assists in implementing appropriate reporting solutions, data analysis and management reporting.Collaborates with end-users to determine reporting needs and design specifications.Extracts and collects and cleans data for performing queries and writing reports, and regularly auditing systems.Performs quality assurance and testing for all reports.May assist end-users on report writing.Design dashboards and present to stakeholdersPerforms all other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Access.Ability to analyze data and communicate results to higher education audiences, both verbally and written.Knowledge with data analytics, management reporting, and report development tools, such as Crystal Reports, PL/SQL, SQL, SQL Server Report Services, and SAS is highly preferred.EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year of experience with data analysis is required.LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:

Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year.
