Job Summary:
Is responsible in assisting management of database maintenance, direct mail/email operations, and promotional setup, including mailing list preparation and deadlines. Incumbent coordinates, reports and audits on direct mail and promotional setup to insure accuracy. Is responsible for developing detailed analytics for offer-based, event-based, and promotion-based casino marketing initiatives and maintaining accurate records.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Implement, develop and maintain Player Tracking Database.Utilize knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL, MySQL, MS SQL), data warehouses, relational databases, and multi-dimensional databases in analyzing various data sources (Konami-Synkros and Discoverer, Quick Custom Intelligence-QCI Campaign Manager, Playersoft-Event Management, Enrollment, Group Management, Everi-Promotional Kiosk and PowerKiosk Management System, in-house databases, data warehouse, other third-party data sources, etc.) to develop the queries and procedures for extracting and communicating required informationResponsible for ensuring data integrity for all data sources used.Work closely with all areas of marketing and Information Technology staff to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues of concernReview, monitor, report, and audit results from campaigns, special events and promotions to ensure accuracy and determine performance, effectiveness, and revenue generating impact.Assist in the planning and implementation of promotional programs designed to attract and retain large groups of new and existing guests to the casino.Work within a team to ensure that campaigns and promotions setup needed to carry out the promotions are in place in a timely manner.Create, maintain, and archive promotions in the Promotion Kiosk and PowerKiosk Management System.Be the subject matter expert for database marketing system, including but not limited to the Player Tracking System, and Player KiosksBe on call for any issues regarding the loading of offers and promotional setup, including monitor active promotions during go-live.Collaborates, assist, and communicate with all departments informing the direct mail and email campaigns in a timely manner.Leads analysis to gather data, organize it into reports and provide conclusions.Responsible for database integrity (security, data cleansing, NCOA, etc.)Provide pre and post campaign analysis.Responsible for the strict adherences to Compliance policies, internal control procedures and the Casinos policies and procedures.Other job-related duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of direct mail including players tracking database. Knowledge and experience with Slot Player Tracking, Casino Management and Casino marketing systems highly preferred.
Knowledge and experience with SQL/MySQL/MS SQL-based Business Intelligence solutions with data analytics, visualization and slot-floor/external geographic mapping highly preferred.
Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL, MySQL, MS SQL) and developing and maintaining SQL standard compliant databases (Microsoft SQL Server and other relational database products), multi-dimensional databases, and data mining models. Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office Professional software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Access, and Excel. Proven experience in the use of computer systems including database systems, software, data retrieval methodologies and quantitative analysis. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Proven statistical, analytical and problem-solving abilities including the ability to identify trends, patterns and relationships in data; develop and measure testing scenarios; and synthesize/report results. Strong guest service orientation. Experience working both independently and in a collaborative team environment. Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; and at least two years of casino related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft SQL Server, and all Microsoft Office Professional suite applications is required. Strongly prefer a background in relational and multi-dimensional database management and/or design, data warehouse management, query writing, and report writing. Prior experience utilizing strong financial analysis and/or statistical analysis skills, and exhibiting a functional understanding of financial principals preferred. K nowledge and experience with SQL/MySQL/MS SQL-based Business Intelligence solutions with data analytics, visualization and slot-floor/external geographic mapping highly preferred.LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.LANGUAGE SKILLS :Tact and diplomacy are essential. Ability to interpret documents such as rules and regulations, instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Experience in statistical analysis, including the ability to identify trends, patterns and relationships in data; develop and measure testing scenarios; and synthesize/report results highly preferred.REASONING ABILITY:Must reason with people effectively yet cordially. A typical workweek is 40 hours and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday.
