The Music Therapy Supervisor is responsible for the oversight, coordinationand day to day operations of the music therapy program, the music therapists,the music therapy Internship and all music volunteers. This includes but isnot limited to: the provision of music therapy services for all patients,families and staff at JHACH who are prioritized to receive music therapyservices, inclusive of: assessment, planning, intervention and documentation,the application, the selection, maintenance, training, and clinicalsupervision of music therapists, the music therapy internship and itsstudents, and the selection and oversight of the music volunteers.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy* Board Certified* 3 years working as a Board-Certified Music Therapist in a healthcare setting* 1-year experience working as a Board-Certified Music Therapist in a pediatric healthcare setting.* Meets all educational, musical, clinical, and ethical competencies outlined by the American Music Therapy Association* Thorough knowledge of Child Development and the ability to assess with visual and auditory acuity and respond effectively to the individual, age specific needs with high quality music therapy intervention* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Current infant, child, and adult CPR and AED training, AHA
Salary Range: Minimum 27.04 per hour - Maximum 43.26 per hour. Compensationwill be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope andresponsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions willoccur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensationdiscussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
