Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob Description
In this role, you will primarily be working on 2D drawings. Approximately 75% of your work will involve repeat drawings where you will copy and readdress part numbers, while 35-40% will involve new custom designs. This engineering role requires reviewing all jobs, scheduling them to each person, and focusing on the redesign and conversion of 3D drawings to 2D. You will be specifically working with mobile equipment and designing manifold drawings, so understanding the plumbing around that design is crucial.
Responsibilities
Create and update 2D drawings, including repeat and new custom designs.
Review all jobs and schedule them to each person within the team.

Work with mobile equipment and design manifold drawings, understanding the plumbing involved.
Collaborate with the engineering group to check each other's work and details of drawings.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 or higher.
Experience with SolidWorks.
Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting and designing.
Minimum 3 years of experience converting 3D drawings to 2D.
Minimum 1 year of Oracle experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree in Mechanical Drafting/Design.
Experience with Revit and BIM.
Knowledge of components, design, and drafting.
Experience working in collaborative engineering groups.
Work Environment
This role offers a fully remote work environment, including both training and daily work. You will be part of an engineering group that collaborates closely, reviewing and checking each other's work. The company services a number of universities within their research labs and has significant growth opportunities, including a new project that is set to triple the business.
