Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Digital Communication to lead the development and implementation of Crinetics digital ecosystem and digital content strategy. This individual will be responsible for leading our digital strategy and enhancing our organization's online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a comprehensive strategic digital communication plan, managing our multiple websites, social media channel mix, online presence and overseeing the development of engaging content to reach key stakeholder audiences.

The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of the Corporate Communications team, help shape and create Crinetics unique story-telling opportunities in the digital space. The candidate will gain a firm understanding on our differentiated platform and emerging pipeline as well as our mission, vision and values.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy:

Contributing to and executing against a comprehensive corporate communication plan by helping to shape a digital communications center of excellence to achieve overall business objectives.Platform Development and Management

Managing and maintaining the organization's comprehensive digital ecosystem including company, supportive branded and unbranded websites, social media channels and email marketing platforms as it makes sense.Leverage deep digital and technical expertise to challenge the status-quo and partner with business and analytics teams in delivering innovative communications strategies across all paid and earned media campaigns.Serve as a data and technical representative in conversations with agencies to ensure all data, analytics and regulatory activation requirements are documented and communicated timely and efficiently.Help drive stakeholder user experience across patient, caregiver, and healthcare provider digital communications strategy ensuring buy-in and alignment with broader corporate and brand strategies.Content Curation and Development

Oversee creation and curation of high-quality, engaging digital content (text, images, videos) for channels.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate digital communication with overall internal communications efforts.Ideate and help produce high-quality content for digital channels and collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging thought leadership content.Measurement and Evaluation:

Analyze and track website and social media metrics to inform digital strategy, optimize content and improve digital environments including through qualitative and quantitative analysis.Partner in monitoring data-driven digital and multi-channel communication strategies, including targeting, messaging, content, channel, and measurement.Socialize dashboards for all levels of the organization to demonstrate the effectiveness and ROI of digital initiatives.Incorporate inter-related SEO/SEM, analytics and cross platform integrations as it makes sense.Regularly monitor social media landscapes.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in digital communication, marketing, or a related field and/or 7 + years of biopharmaceutical industry experience.Proven track-record of success in digital communication and content creation preferably.Strong understanding of website management, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and adjust strategy accordingly i.e., how to set up media analytics data infrastructure to track media KPIs.Understanding of people-based retargeting, cookie-based programmatic retargeting, and/or other methods of paid media marketing.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.Staying abreast of changes in technology and the digital landscape to ensure competitive advantage.Providing guidance to team members to ensure their success in executing digital marketing campaigns.Experience with Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Laboratory Activities (if applicable): Biology and chemical laboratory environment experience needed. Environmental health and safety requirements also apply.

Travel:

You may be required to travel for up to 5% of your time.

The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $154,000 - $205,000

In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. We also provide top-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and a winter company shutdown.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
