Summary:
We are looking for a new Head of Content and Channels to join the internal comms leadership team. This person will oversee the internal comms creative and channels strategies, and lead the team that will be the creative engine behind our priority campaigns, programs and key internal moments. They will oversee the company events strategy, manage the team-wide editorial planning processes, and liaise with the MZ Comms team to maximize the impact of Mark's internal and external communication moments with employees. This role will report into the VP of Internal Communications.

Head of Content and Channels Responsibilities:

  1. Manage our team of creative and events experts.
  2. Build a model to consult with other internal comms members on their creative strategies to support their campaigns and programs, and develop the creative content to execute against them.
  3. Manage our channel strategy, ensuring we have the right internal comms infrastructure (events and groups) to be able to reliably reach our employees.
  4. Consult with other internal comms pillars to develop a robust events program that educates employees on our company strategy and priority messaging.
  5. Partner with MZ comms on Mark's internal comms moments, and explore opportunities to internalize Mark's external moments to maximize the impact of these with employees.
  6. Create a centralized editorial planning process across internal comms pillars, to ensure we have a complete and consistent understanding of what messages are being delivered to employees, and look for opportunities to align and combine moments for maximum impact.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline.
  2. 10+ years professional experience working in internal or corporate communications.
  3. Experience writing for a global audience with multiple types of audiences and channels.
  4. Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Experience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely and valuable content.
  6. Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously and to work autonomously.
  7. Experience in solving problems using judgment and analysis, providing practical, timely and proactive communications guidance and support.
  8. Experience with events and logistics.

Public Compensation:
$218,000/year to $287,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
