WITHIN YOUR TEAM
As Director of Marketing Planning and Operations at Pantone, you will leverage your marketing expertise and work closely with the Product Marketing and Product Management teams to to develop and implement marketing strategies that would help Pantone reach its strategic business objectives. You will be a hands-on and involved marketing leader, exhibiting a high level of leadership in communication, emotional intelligence, and a strong business-driving, yet servant-leader mindset, with extensive marketing expertise as you manage a team and influence other cross-functional leaders and team members. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans that generate demand for Pantone products and services, enhance brand awareness and engagement while safeguarding our beloved brand, and deepen our understanding and relationships with our customers. You are analytical, and you take a data driven, results-oriented approach to decision-making.
This position is responsible for (1) working with product teams to understand target audience and create integrated marketing plan with measurable performance metrics that would drive toward company goals, (2) managing a team of channel owners and content creators to execute strategies to drive demand generation that fuels both short-term and sustainable long-term growth, (3) own project management process and day-to-day operations to ensure campaigns and deliverables are completed on-time and at desired quality, and (4) own performance tracking process and manage team to build reports, analyze results, and communicate findings to help Company to continue to improve, and (5) support budgeting recommendation and allocation of resources for marketing activities.

Be a key contributor to the development of marketing strategies and tactics to drive market demand growth for Pantone's portfolio of solutions. Develop cohesive and integrated marketing efforts that drive results and drive cross-functional global teams to ensure proper implementation.Oversee team to manage marketing project tasks and maintain excellent organization and coordination among the cross-functional team. Ensure campaigns are delivered on-time, while communicating any changes or delays that may affect related processes.Support product marketing and product management teams to develop a robust marketing calendar with compelling, impactful, and brand consistent campaigns that are resonant with target audiences.Oversee the team responsible for monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns. Utilize data and insights to assess effectiveness, pinpoint areas for ongoing improvement, and support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate closely with finance, web, sales operations, and data teams to create comprehensive dashboards and reporting frameworks that track the success of marketing efforts and ensure they align with business goals. Deliver regular reports and recommendations to the Pantone President and internal stakeholders.Work closely with Finance and the President to gain approval for the marketing budget required to deliver effective and cost-efficient marketing campaigns.Manage team of channel owners and content creators (inhouse and/or external) to execute on marketing deliverables. Ensure the function consistently delivers on schedule and of desired quality.Promote continuous cross-departmental collaboration and be an excellent communicator to ensure 360 alignment on critical business decisions and status and results of projects.Adopt an ownership mentality, continuously identify improvement areas, and inspire the team to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.Stay current with the latest marketing trends and technologies and provide thought leadership to the organization.YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:
At least 10 years of marketing experience required with management and leadership experience.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related degree. Advanced degree and/or MBA is highly preferred.Extensive experience in developing and managing strategic and integrated marketing plansExperience managing marketing resources to deliver results in a cost-conscious way and proving ROI.Experience in tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting marketing campaign performance with ideas on how to drive continuous improvementExperience in digital transformation a plusWE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO:
