As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for guiding the success of the digital customer experience and helping to lead the cross-functional product teams that support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience. You will work closely with stakeholders, including customers, to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements that the development team can implement. Your role will bridge the Sales and Marketing technical and business space as you work with the project and business teams to ensure a smooth product development process from conception to launch. The role of Product Owner is critical to our organization's success. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our products and play a key role in driving our company's growth. This is a hybrid role, with the associate required to be in the office 3 days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute Product Vision: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and opportunities. Execute on the product vision and roadmaps set for the digital customer experience including the Digital Agent Experience. Define and communicate the product vision to the development team and stakeholders. Manage Product Backlog: Prioritize features based on business value and customer impact. Maintain a well-groomed backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly collaborate with stakeholders, provide updates on progress, and solicit feedback. Be the voice of the customer in all discussions. Increment and Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with the development team(s) to plan and execute successful implementation roadmaps and product releases/increments. Ensure releases/increments deliver the expected value to customers and the business. Decision Making: Define, track, and report key product metrics. Use data to inform decision-making and validate assumptions. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks early in the development process. Adjust priorities and plans to minimize impact. Dependency Management : Identify and manage dependencies across development team(s) both within and outside of Sales to ensure proper prioritization and completion of work. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Previous experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development. Proven record of accomplishment of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies. Ability to engage with technical teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs, and evaluate innovative ideas. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable using data to drive decisions and measure outcomes. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team. Foster collaboration and facilitate effective communication. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field. 2-3 years working as a Product Owner in Agile environment 3 years in prior project team experience with large system implementations Insurance Industry experience required Additional certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum or Product Owner) are desirable.
