Our Financial client is seeking a UX Content Designer to join their Experience Design (XD) team for a 6-month consulting assignment. The perfect candidate will create content for the web, mweb, and mobile experiences across all touchpoints, including user interface copy and notifications. For this role, the Content Designer will support the digital identity space, including security features for open banking and card scan reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects.
  • Plan and write U.S. English content for web, mweb, and mobile experiences (across all touchpoints including navigation and user interface copy, emails, in-app notifications, chatbots, and help).
  • Transform global product requirements into a content strategy for meeting business goals and solving real customer problems.
  • Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with Design on page layout, interactions, visual tone, and accessibility standards.
  • Coordinate content with Brand, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure we create a consistent end-to-end experience.
  • Partner with Legal and Risk to deliver content that complies with regulations.
  • Create highly effective user-focused experiences and interfaces across a variety of environments (mobile, web apps, dashboards, etc.).
  • Create and maintain design documentation including wireframes, user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of staff members to develop concepts into features during the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and demonstrate interactive prototypes, and validate designs with product team, stakeholders, and users.
  • Collaborate with other team members to understand customer needs and interpret them into design elements.
  • Stay up to date on industry and user experience trends, best practices, and technology and promote them within the larger UX team.

Skills:

  • Expert skill in Photoshop and also be fluent in Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other creative wireframes.
  • A working knowledge of XHTML/CSS.
  • A verifiable portfolio of web application design, including great web interfaces is preferred.
  • Experience in UX writing and content design.
  • Experience with leading workstreams.
  • Work cross-functionally, led workstreams.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $51 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
