Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years of software product management experience
  • 3+ launches from idea conception to delivery in consumer-facing online/mobile products, including at least 1 international market
  • Experience managing a team of Product Managers to deliver results and measure success
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial and operational analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management
  • Experience owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across multiple technology teams. Able to prioritize complex deliverables, have highly technical discussions, and run large meetings with technical and business leaders
  • Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic mode

As Sr. Manager, Content Lifecycle and Enrichment, you lead a team of other Managers and Sr. Product Managers to build products and services that support the global delivery of defect-free, on-time metadata and video content to our customers through the entire supply chain--from ingestion to when a customer hits the “play” button. You own the end-to-end quality of title content delivered to customers worldwide. You and your team own the ingestion services, work with science teams to build quality detection and correction models, and enhance content with customer-delighting features. You and your team define and deliver new customer experiences based on foundational catalog capabilities. Your team partners most closely with engineering and science teams to deliver your product, but you have close collaborations with other product teams across PV, Public Policy, PR, Legal, and a deep partnership with the Advertising team, as you are a primary enabler of their PV Ad product. Leading a team that drives innovation is a key part of this role.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Manage the product management team and develop our people.
  • Set the overall product vision and direction for the Content Lifecycle and Enrichment space.
  • Work with engineering and science leaders to translate customer needs into workable technology and AI solutions that scale operationally.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to formulate business strategies and shape product direction.
  • Support team to define and prioritize initiatives based on a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors in different businesses and international environments.
  • Support the delivery of initiatives by working cross-functionally with designers, software development engineers, legal, finance, operations, senior management, and fellow leaders through iterative product development.
  • Managing overall cross-functional schedule, risks and issues to enable teams to be successful at delivering project milestones and public launch.
  • Support synthesis of external and internal data to drive clarity and alignment in your team through business writing such as narrative papers and PR-FAQs.
