We’re looking for a Vice President, Digital to join our award-winning team that grows and evolves brands through digital strategy, campaigns and content that earn our audiences’ attention. This is a critical day-to-day account lead role supporting some of our largest digital business at Assembly. You will serve as a main client contact and team lead for cross-market specialists, delivering excellence across all programs—from social-first campaigns to digital extensions of Microsoft’s flagship events. As account driver, you will also support with unlocking growth through the development of proposals and programs in close partnership with your leadership team.
As a Vice President (VP), you are part client whisperer and part digital strategist, but underpinning it all, you are passionate about everything digital communications. From community management to content planning, email marketing to website builds, channel strategies to paid media execution, you’ve seen it all—and you know how to craft strong plans and assemble the right team to deliver it all.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the day-to-day client lead, nurturing the business through client service, proactive opportunity identification and reactive response.
- Driver of integrated programs, bringing a client and digital best practice lens to everything we deliver.
- Develop, review and deliver meeting agendas and recaps, social creative and content (organic and paid), brand social strategies and new channel POVs in collaboration with Social Strategists, Creatives and more.
- Lead ad-hoc requests such as quick-turn POVs in light of business or societal events, collaboration with inter-agency partners, or quick social recommendations.
- Review and ensure quality of social measurement reports and Quarterly Business Reviews—and proactively optimize our account and work based on learnings.
- Lead on internal and client-facing weekly synchs in partnership with Project Management/Delivery.
- Coach and develop our junior account team members as needed.
- Potential collaboration with Microsoft Paid Media desk, regional social teams and other Microsoft stakeholders for extensions and adaptation of content.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience living and breathing social and digital projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep experience working in social and digital programs across organic and paid, and comfortability interacting with senior clients.
- Experience working with Fortune 10/Fortune 500 companies, B2B tech enterprise background preferred.
- Fluent with the needs of large accounts, and matrixed teams on internal agency and client side.
- Highly detailed and organized, flexible and able to adapt to evolving client needs without compromising quality.
- Strong digital acumen and curiosity—from the newest emerging trends and channels to best-in-class B2B social.
- Deep interest in technology and AI, and how we translate this story for commercial and consumer audiences.
- Ambitious and hungry for opportunity, someone who wants to make their mark and wants to grow and scale programs.
Salary: $99,000 - $175,000 a year. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
