Assists the project team in the production of projects on time, within budget, and consistent with industry standards. Participants in client meetings and performs job site visits alongside the Technology Consultant to ensure projects are executed as planned.Key Responsibilities:Learns to understand industry standards, company technical policies and procedures, and technology systems during the execution of projects for clientsObserves and learns the industry standards and practices of design analyses using industry softwareRoutinely produces designs using Revit and/or CADDAssists the design team in the coordination of project designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs, provide input for operating procedures, and provide technical informationObserves and learns the information used by Technology Consultants to develop man-hour budgetsUnder supervision, assists in the execution of design processes and analysis on assigned projects and requests assistance from technology staff when neededLearns how to communicate design requirements with contractors and equipment sales representatives to determine project scope and feasibilityAccompanies technology staff in client meetings and performing project job site visits to investigate field conditions and monitor progress based on design specifications, owner expectations, and building codesReads and interprets blueprints, specifications, schematics, and engineering reportsActively attends internal and external training and other educational opportunities to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas

An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or relevant degree ORfour years of relevant experience (e.g. design, application, and/or administration of low voltage systems)General knowledge and understanding of industry specific software (i.e., Revit and AutoCAD)Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)General knowledge and understanding of technology systems
