2023 "Best of the Springs" Non-Profit, is hiring a Marketing Manager. We're looking for a detail-oriented, communications expert with a passion for supporting life in our community. The Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing and Communications Director and is responsible for managing projects related to Life Network's ministry outreaches. This role creates awareness and engagement with the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center, the Parenting Program, Bridges of Hope, and the Life Network Family Thrift Stores.This role also supports the Director with donor engagement through events, social media, and direct marketing. This role interfaces directly with pregnancy center clients in order to hear their stories, collect photos, and help communicate stories of impact to Life Network's supporters. This person will have the ability to think strategically and then execute with excellence. We are seeking a highly detailed and creative individual who can multi-task and work confidently and independently. At least three years of management experience is required. Strong interpersonal skills are critical due to contacts with staff, vendors, and ministry partners. Having experience in graphic design, web design, and/or videography is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications Strategy & Execution
Develops and implements strategies to advance and improve existing communication strategies and channel effectiveness for ministry outreaches.
Meets with program directors to determine how to best reach and communicate with their target audience.
Manages departmental marketing projects, including but not limited to, brochures for the pregnancy center or parenting program, and Thrift Store signs/banners or ministry-branded merchandise.
Interfaces with graphic designers for creation of the deliverables as well as sending the items to printers/vendors.
Digital Marketing
Oversees contractors and staff responsible for reaching pregnancy center patients and clients, with an emphasis on digital approaches such as online ads, geo-targeting, SEO, social media, and other proactive tools for cultivating client engagement
Performs basic maintenance and oversees external agency support to maintain, update, grow the impact of organization's websites and pages, including:

Uses analytics of websites, emails, and social sites to refine and improve impact across its digital assets
Managerial Responsibilities
Supervises external contractors who perform marketing services
Manages and maintains project calendars and tasks
Works within department budgets and helps support larger organizational goals
Performs other duties as assigned
Writing, Editing and Storytelling
Gather and track story leads from the clients and patients of the pregnancy center. Provide writing/editing support for the Marketing and Communications team as requested.
Schedule and attend client photoshoots
Coordinate with the COO and contracted videographers to collect video stories from clients (e.g., Gala video)
Graphic Design
Responsible for strategic brand management for the Pregnancy Center and the ministry's outreaches
Collaborates with graphic designers, external agencies, and other contract support to develop on-brand marketing assets and materials
Events
Supports the communications of donor ministry events
Attends all major Life Network events as well as other team-executed functions
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications, preferred
At least 5-to-7 years of professional marketing experience with evidence of increasing responsibility and demonstrated results at lead generation/growth
A minimum of three years of management experience, involving supervision of direct reports and/or directing teams to achieve results
Proven experience in strategic planning and leadership
Experience with website maintenance/design and social media management
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong advocate for sanctity of life issues
Possesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional life
Active commitment in a local church
A passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network and a heart for reaching the lost with the Gospel
Strong leadership experience and skills and the ability to show initiative in assigning and completing tasks
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with other team members to meet deadlines, manage details, and maintain high quality standards
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written, with a high degree of professionalism and maturity
Thorough understanding and demonstrated ability to maximize digital tools - and an ability to manage web pages in WordPress
Strong computer skills in a variety of software including Office, fundraising and design applications
Demonstrates qualities of initiative, organization, teamwork, and goal-orientation
Ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptable in unpredictable situations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to do, or learn, basic video editing for digital use and/or graphic design (e.g., Canva) a plus
Willingness to work primarily in an office environment with occasional remote work
CLASSIFICATIONFull-time, non-exempt position. Pay range: $22 - $26.50 per hour. Reports to Marketing & Communications Director. Primarily in-office role with flexibility for occasional remote work.
This position is eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits, life insurance, retirement plan match, paid time off and holiday pay.
