Sony Electronics' is looking for a social media intern to join our Community Marketing team. Are you constantly updated on social and cultural trends? Are up to date on key performance metrics? Do you constantly check your socials? If this sounds like your dream job, we want to know you.
This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
Daily searches for UGC through tagged mentions and hashtags; Provide weekly summary of strong content and initiate outreach to creators; Additionally partner with our influencer team to funnel creators into seeding program Develop a weekly trend report (what is popular) Work with internal creative team to develop organic social content Manage IG takeovers - attend events and create real time story content Work with managers to assist with reporting - from social tools to internal monthly reporting Copywriting and posting support for content planning Interact with tagged content Minimum Requirements
Program will run January 15 to May 15 Able to commit to 20 hours in a week (in office Tuesday and Wednesday and remote Thursday) Rising junior or senior in collegiate program with a 3.0 GPA or above Previous internship experience required in the marketing space Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding of social media (all platforms) Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PPT, Excel and Word Professional demeanor and a strong desire to learn Ability to work in a team Ability to travel and work weekend events as needed Preferred Skills

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $20 to $25. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a limited benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), vacation time, and eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually.
