As a Product Marketing Analyst Intern working in the Commercial Products Group, you will be responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of a product go-to-market framework that assures timely and robust product introductions and quick volume sales ramps for Crucial and Micron products. You will work directly with CPG product owners including product managers and product line managers, as well as with a broad cross functional team.
The role will be located in our Meridian, ID office, and will report to the Senior Manager Product Marketing.
The following marketing and management skills will be applied: strategic thinking, data analysis, listening for content and context, collaborative planning, product positioning, trend identification and analysis, negotiation, persuasion, and executive presentation.
This role offers the rare opportunity to develop your product marketing, product management, and technical marketing skillsets, driven by the delivery of a process and framework that will directly benefit teams inside of Micron as well as partners and customers.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Design and create a product go-to-market framework that is ready to deploy. Partner within PM/PLM, as well as engineering, operations, channel marketing, integrated marketing and other relevant teams to identify key criteria for successful product launches. Work closely with the team to brief them on project progress as well as help needed for success. Meet with distribution, e-tail, and other partners for the purpose of identifying their criteria for successful NPI and then integrate that feedback into the framework. Present findings and recommendation of the project to CPG management with the expected outcome being integration into the existing product launch process. Ideal candidate qualifications:
Knowledge of consumer, cloud, and enterprise memory and storage products as well as the underlying technologies of DRAM and NAND. Curiosity about the business dynamics of the IT equipment channel and product routes to market. A desire to learn how new products are imagined, designed, created, and delivered to the market. An agile thinker that can bridge the gap between the technical product concepts and customer needs. Successful track record of teamwork in a multifaceted, multi-tasking team environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills. Education:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, with a minor or emphasis in business or marketing. You are current student and should not be scheduled to graduate before December2025
