Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:The Advertising Promotion Senior Manager is responsible for providing regulatory reviews for assigned Vertex areas, including advertising, promotional, educational, medical/scientific and corporate communications for healthcare providers, patients, consumers, payers and other audiences. This role works collaboratively and facilitates cross-functional teams to approve communications that are compliant with regulatory requirements and support business objectives.Key Duties and Responsibilities:With oversight, serves as Regulatory reviewer for assigned product(s) on Communications Review Committee (CRC) and Medical Review Committee (MRC), and as Regulatory representative on program and other cross-functional teamsHelps to facilitate CRC discussions between Regulatory, Legal, Medical, Commercial and other stakeholders, as applicableAs a Regulatory Reviewer, assesses the regulatory context and provide regulatory interpretations of applicable guidance and/or regulations or regulatory precedents, including requirements related to submission of material to Health AuthorityProvides regulatory guidance and support to commercial teams and other stakeholders, with oversightProvides support for interactions with Health Authorities for assigned product(s)Works collaboratively in teams to ensure that changes in product labeling are carried into promotional materials in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirementsUnder supervision, participates in the creation and revision of procedures and guidelines related to CRC processesMonitors advertising and promotion regulations and guidelines to support successful and compliant marketing of Vertex productsConducts training sessions as needed with stakeholdersKnowledge and Skills:Knowledge of applicable Health Authority codes, laws, regulations, guidance, and industry standards related to advertising and promotional communications about prescription drugs and/or devices if applicableUnderstanding of clinical study design and statistical analyses in assessment of promotional claimsInterpersonal and communication skills to explain difficult information and to work to build alignmentAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across functionsPharmaceutical industry and Regulatory Affairs ad/promo experienceEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in relevant/scientific discipline or a related fieldTypically requires 6 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experiencePay Range 132,560.00 - 198,840.00 USD annuallyThe range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.
