Junior Technical Writer - Top Secret
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Junior Technical Writer to support an immediate need on a funded program with our DoJ customer. As a Junior Technical Writer, you will create and maintaining clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for client products, services, or processes. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts (such as analysts, developers, etc.) to understand complex technical information and translate it into documentation that can be easily understood by our client's target audience (client stakeholders, Law Enforcement, and the general public). You will support a variety of client systems and missions to include enabling criminal justice agencies to search, link, analyze, and share local, state, tribal, and federal records with the purpose of filling informational gaps and providing situational awareness.

Responsibilities:Work as a part of a strategic management team to assist, facilitate, or manage technical business process efforts.Assist analyzing existing processes for potential improvements and developing written analysis documents and workflows.Assist in gathering and analyzing metrics and preparing reports and dashboards.Fact-check any data collected during the research process.Make use of various writing style guides or project briefs to develop content for assignments.Assist in collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, outreach materials, installation guides, style guides, proposals, and reports.Use MS SharePoint to manage organizational content to effectively meet the needs of the various programs managed by the client.Carry out research and perform technical analysis on topics assigned.Requirements:
A minimum of four years' experience converting technical information acquired into readable, easy-to-understand content tailored to their specific audience is required.A minimum of four years' experience using word-processing software, including content management systems is required.A minimum of four years' experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrate analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Demonstrate an excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.Desired:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in English, communication, business administration or technical writing is desired.
