Reporting to VP of Investment, the Associate Director will help deliver clients' business objectives through bespoke and insight rooted recommendations. This role will work closely with senior management to develop a good working relationship between the client and the media community. You will also be managing the day-to-day deliverables and workload of the team. You will utilize existing strong relationships with the media vendor community to ensure that clients get premium access to opportunities and that multimedia buys are executed to the highest of standards. You are a significant part of shepherding Canvas culture.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as a account lead across National Video (linear, digital, CTV, OTT)As the account lead, you will effectively communicate client's goals, expectations and deadlines to the teamDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal brand teamsCreate and construct internal training decks as well as client presentationsEffective communication skills and leadership skills to manage the team, lead client meetings and internal callsResponsible for negotiating rates, constructing media buys and developing recommendations to clientsWork closely with sales representatives to promote advantageous relationships and stay up to date on current offeringsServe as a market expert, providing insight to the marketplace conditions, maintaining knowledge and understanding of industry trendsGuide team in setting goals and timelines, and ensure team members have challenging/level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills, contribute to the overall team successLead performance reviews, identify training needs and set goals for career developmentResponsible for mentoring and managing additional junior team membersProvide clear direction to team in order to gather rates, effectively negotiate and construct media buys in Mediaocean and Prisma buying systemHelp lead and facilitate campaign results meetings/calls with client and strategy teamsKnow all details for multi-year deals and sponsorships and make sure the team is tracking appropriately>
Qualifications
Experience with all areas of National Video, including Linear, OLV, CTV, Addressable, Programmatic videoFluent in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word. System expert: MediaOcean, Prisma, ComScore, NPower, working knowledge of DSPsSelf-starter with proven ability to drive projects from start to finish in a timely mannerA strong team leader with people management skillsCommitted to partnering with clients to ensure successful outcomesExtremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to build and maintain strong internal and external relationshipsEffective verbal and written communication skills with ability to present in a clear and actionable wayA collaborative team player who can work independently and as part of a matrix structureStrong presentation skills, ability to communicate to internal managers and clientsPrevious experience in personal finance, banking, credit cards, or apps a plusPassionate about generating groundbreaking ideas and infusing our team with a fresh perspective to drive creativityPositive attitude and energy - good vibes only!>
Experience & Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred6+ year(s) of experience in National Video Investment with proficiency in both traditional linear and online video platforms>
$105,000 - $115,000 a year
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a "Do Good Day," and unlimited PTO.
In-Office Work Schedule
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
