We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator supporting the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and working closely with the rest of the team. You would be responsible for engaging with our online community, ideating, producing, and editing short form videos, and brainstorming and implementing timely, trending social media strategies. You will help manage the Universal Pictures All-Access Facebook, Instagram, Broadcast Channel, Twitter/X,Threads, TikTok, etc.

Responsibilities:

Monitor social media platforms and engage with the Universal All-Access community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

Contribute to the ideation and executing timely organic TikTok video ideas including in-office shoots to create impactful, shareable content.

Edit and repurpose film clips into engaging, short-form content optimized for various social media platforms.

Collaborate with the social media team to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas that leverage current trends and cultural moments.

Assist in influencer searches, decks, and stay on top of innovative platforms and ideas including Threads, Broadcast channels, Discord, etc.

Manage and oversee organic social media strategies and posting for Partner films in the Home Entertainment Window.

Provide support to the Organic Digital Marketing Team, ensuring smooth execution of all campaigns.

Handle general billing and PO maintenance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Basic Requirements:

1+ year of experience in social media, digital marketing, video production or a related role.

Minimum 1 year experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, mobile video editing or similar tools) and at least 1 year of experience with creating shortform video content for social media.

1+ year working with social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, X, Facebook, etc.)

1+ years of experience working with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform insights).

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with pop culture, current and developing trends, and quick to spot and respond to new trends as they emerge. The term “chronically online” describes who you are.

Basic knowledge or interest in influencer marketing, researching influencers and managing collaborations is a plus, but not required.

Creative, proactive thinker willing to contribute innovative ideas and stay updated on the latest social media and digital marketing trends.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling content.

Strong teamwork skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively within a collaborative environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Experience in community management is a plus, but not required.

Basic understanding of billing processes and purchase order (PO) management is a plus, but not required.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
