Job Description

Western Digital is currently looking for a savvy and skilled Creative Video Director who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production of video content.

In this position, you will oversee the entire video production process, from brainstorming ideas to final editing. You will also work closely and collaborate with other stakeholders across the company to ensure that the videos align with our overall brand and messaging.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. This role requires a visionary who can translate ideas into compelling video content that engages and resonates with diverse audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and plan video projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with Communications team members to determine project goals, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate all aspects of video production onsite or in studio, including shooting, editing, and post-production
• Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production
• Ensure all videos meet quality standards and brand guidelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the company
• Support the development of a distribution strategy for the video content

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of video production experience at a leading brand, with a strong portfolio of work
• Proficiency with a variety of cameras and editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation software such as Cinema 4D
• Strong creative vision and the ability to develop engaging and effective video content
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with onsite video production
• Ability to travel for onsite video production shoots
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Curious, flexible, and the ability to think creatively
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and can thrive under pressure
• Someone who has a sense of humor
