Role


Manages the Company's communications and marketing strategy, enhancing our brand reputation and overseeing website design and management. This role leads initiatives to build and maintain our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction while leveraging expertise in strategic communications, digital marketing, and technical website skills to support and grow our brand.


Essential Responsibilities



  • Develops and implements comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and engage target audiences effectively.

  • Oversees strategic communications campaign development and execution from concept through delivery.

  • Defines key messages, delivery channels, and performance metrics (KPIs) for all communications initiatives.

  • Evaluates the impact of communication campaigns, leveraging insights to continuously improve strategies and boost effectiveness.

  • Exhibits strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills to create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

  • Develops strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns, and communications to increase awareness, promote interest, and enable greater understanding.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital content.

  • Oversees website design, optimization, and maintenance in alignment with SEO best practices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

  • Develops and executes digital marketing strategies, including SEO and SEM, and campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.

  • Monitors and analyzes website performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to driving initiatives within a cross-functional environment.

  • Effectively sets priorities, organizes work, and adapts to changing priorities.

  • Utilizes excellent consultative skills to interface effectively with all levels of employees and management.

  • Delivers compelling presentations and communication to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Enhances and maintains Recology's brand reputation through strategic communication and marketing efforts.

  • Contributes to brand development and content through creative design feedback and alignment with the company's strategic vision.

  • Establishes and enforces communication standards and best practices to ensure consistent brand messaging.

  • Monitors media and public relations activities led by internal and external colleagues.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:



  • Six years of related experience in communications, marketing, and website management, including strategic planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated expertise in website management and digital marketing strategies.

  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design, video editing and web development applications.

  • Knowledgeable and capable of website management.

  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.

  • Ability to create compelling content that generates impact with the ability to influence others.

  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to foster teamwork.

  • Background and experience in executive communication and project management.

  • Understanding or knowledge of design principles and best practices.

  • Experience working with creative teams and providing design feedback.

  • Proven experience organizing and directing projects while being an individual contributor.

  • Principles of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.

  • Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning and budgeting.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Business, Management, Marketing, or another related field preferred.

  • Valid driver's license required.
