where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.As the Associate Product Manager, Market Access Marketing you will develop and lead a subset of payer marketing programs for the continuous and blood glucose monitoring portfolio at Abbott Diabetes Care. As we are evolving to a customer-centric organization, addressing patient affordability and access is a critical need in the evolving managed care landscape. You will work cross-functionally with account management, sales, marketing, regulatory, government and medical affairs teams to generate key messages and tactics to expand and improve access of on-market and new products. You will be engaged in the customer strategy, planning and execution (e.g. training, account management tools/resources) to meet the needs of the company’s managed customers such as public and private payers, integrated delivery networks and key healthcare organizations. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of key payer initiatives and specific promotional activities and tactics for customers or products to establish, enhance or distinguish coverage and access within the continuous glucose monitoring market, specific to the Market Access team.What You’ll Work OnDevelop a Center of Excellence for market access pull through execution in partnership with Account Managers, HCP training and marketing teamsBe the thought leader on market access pull through messaging in cross-channel marketing executionsAssist with creating new efficient processes for pullthrough to deliver impactful marketing tactics in a timely mannerWork with reimbursement to ensure compliance with US P&P policiesDevelop and own a market access coverage claims matrixCollaborate with Patient Support Programs Team to think of an integrated message for market access messaging to patients and HCPsIntegrate with Payer Marketing Team on current tools and resources available to the fieldIdentify gaps in knowledge and education around market access topics within the HCP field team and create an upskilling training and development planManage marketing/advertising agencies and associated budget to ensure high quality, timely deliverablesProfile current payer accounts, identify potential channels, and execute marketing tactics within identified channels, e.g., Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.Leverage market research and other marketplace intelligence to ensure alignment of marketing content and toolsEnsure that all activities within the role of Associate Product Manager, U.S. Managed Care Marketing remain in compliance with all corporate, regulatory, and legal guidelinesRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree required. MBA preferred or at least three years previous marketing/sales experience.Strong presentation and communication skills.Critical thinking and analysis of market conditions and opportunities.Preferred QualificationsAbility to translate complex clinical to easily digestible stories for broad audiences.Broad pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience.Some experience in payer marketing or market access/managed markets.Category experience preferred in diabetes, medical device and/or therapeutics.Product management experience in medical products or services.Apply Now*Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
