In this job, you will be responsible for working closely with business clients in our call center operations and billing services organization, subject matter experts, information architects, data engineers, and other team members to turn data into actionable information and knowledge that can be used to make customer service operations decisions that directly impact initiatives like affordability and customer satisfaction. Your ability to make data consumable via dashboards, visualization tools, ad hoc analyses/reports and artificial intelligence capabilities will help elevate SCE’s Customer Service Operations Division. Responsibilities

Analyzes forecasting errors and trends and propose, vet, and implements load bidding strategies in partnership

Maintains and updates existing forecast models and develop new models to improve forecast performance

Analyzes forecasting errors and identifies areas of improvement in modeling, forecasting and analysis processes.

Maintains well-documented records and compliance with all internal Company policies and procedures

Guides research into current and future market and regulatory scenarios which are used to value the commercials of assets

Develops and optimizes databases and repositories including visualization tools to enhance decision making

Forecasts market prices in order to help determine the correct market strategy

Performs ad hoc quantitative analysis and model development to support trading and business decisions

Develops and enhances tools for analysis projects using appropriate technical information and skills

Performs exploratory analysis of large complex data sets to derive insights and valuable actions

A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

Seven or more years of experience defining system requirements and project scope.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Computer Science and/or related field

Two or more years of experience with data visualization tools to translate data to easily consumable decks, dashboards and written material (i.e. Power BI)

Seven or more years of analytical experience in deriving critical insights from large datasets using advanced knowledge of analytics software such as Structured Query Language (SQL) or SaS for applicable data and basic knowledge of data warehouses

Strong proficiency with MS tools (PPT, Excel, Visio, Project, Planner, CoPilot etc.)

Self-starter with the ability to question status quo, problem solve, influence change, provide forward- thinking solutions to all levels of leadership/clients

Passion for collaborating with teams both internally and externally to solve complex business problems and arrive at solutions

Additional Information

This position’s work mode is

hybrid.

The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.

Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.

Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs
