The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Tax & Legal is responsible for the planning, development, management, implementation, and measurement of key global marketing campaigns for the Global Tax & Legal function, in coordination with Global Tax & Legal leadership, Head of Global Tax & Legal Marketing & Communications, national marketing and communications counterparts in KPMG member firms, and the Global firm strategy. Key success measures of the role include driving adoption of key campaign "hero" components by KPMG member firms and delivery of campaign materials with sufficient lead time to enable adoption. #LI-Hybrid

What you will do

  • Drive the growth and trust ambition of KPMG's Collective Strategy by collaborating with the Head of Global Tax & Legal Marketing & Communications to develop an annual flagship global marketing campaign plan that positions the Tax & Legal practice as a leader in ESG, a fit-for-future leader in delivering technology and insights-led solutions and as a leader for talent.
  • Assume accountability for the delivery and member firm adoption of high-profile campaigns comprised of components aligned with the Global Marketing content framework of hero, hub and heartbeat content that support all stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Support the Head of Global Tax & Legal Marketing & Communications in the delivery of key global marquee client events as required.
  • Prepare monthly reporting on campaign metrics inclusive of member firm adoption, and digital performance.
  • Work with Global Digital Marketing colleagues to develop high-quality digital experiences for campaign content that enhances the image of KPMG's Global Tax & Legal practice in the marketplace, positions the practice as insights-led, and supports business development.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Manager, External Communications to develop plans and approaches for securing media opportunities for key campaign components that position KPMG as an insights-led brand and builds visibility for key luminaries.
  • Measure marketing effectiveness and cost efficiency of activities against KPIs. Cost/ benefit analysis for major projects.

What you bring to the role

  • Accomplished marketing professional with a minimum of 7 years' experience and demonstrable success in the formulation and implementation of marketing strategies for professional services.
  • Demonstrated experience in large scale, global campaign management and working with a range of internal and external stakeholders including vendors (advertising agencies, etc.)
  • Experience developing content for distribution across a number of channels including print, digital, social media, etc.
  • Experience developing value propositions for services and creating integrated issues-based platforms both for promoting relationships and generating revenue.
  • Experience of overseeing change management processes and influencing culture change.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in large scale, global campaign management and working with a range of internal and external stakeholders including vendors (advertising agencies, etc.)
  • Ability to travel internationally as required. Flexibility in hours to accommodate varying time zones.
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree preferably in marketing and communications or equivalent work experience
