Note: This position requires presence in one of our San Francisco office location 4 days per week; Lambda's designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.

What You'll Do

As an AI/ML Content Manager at Lambda, you will create and curate impactful content that resonates and adds value for an audience primarily made of AI/ML engineers. You'll leverage your technical experience and story-telling abilities to produce narratives that build trust, and Thought Leadership without relying on buzzwords or business jargon. You'll not only cover the latest trends and research topics, you'll also be responsible for expanding on the "why" and "how" behind them.

The candidate must have AI/ML experience (i.e., current or former practitioner), as you will go deep into our industry, working alongside practitioners, partners, and other industry thought leaders to translate complex topics into impactful content.

You'll research, manage, write, and optimize a wide range of content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, datasheets, and social media, ensuring our message is clear and compelling. Using your passion for data, you'll keep an eye on content performance and audience engagement and refine your approach using data-driven insights.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our brand voice and a primarily technical audience.
  • Content Creation & editorial vision: Develop a comprehensive content strategy that produces various types of content, including blog posts, sales materials, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, infographics, videos, and social media posts - with the support of our engineering, product, and design teams. .
  • SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our website.
  • Content Calendar: Manage a cross-functional content / editorial calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content across all channels.
  • Audience Research: Work closely with our research team, product team, tech writers, and Design team to understand our target audience's needs, preferences and pain points, and tailor content accordingly. Understand our target audiences needs to through first-hand interactions across popular AI/ML communities and social media conversations.
  • Content Curation: Ensure key existing content is regularly reviewed, stays relevant, and is properly versioned.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze content performance and refine strategies based on data-driven insights, and regularly report on its impact in the market.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously refine our content strategy based on data-driven insights.

You
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
  • Are passionate about AI/ML, with an eye on trends and developments in the field, capable of developing thought leadership content and hot takes.
  • Have a strong journalistic instinct and a gift for finding compelling stories in unlikely places.
  • Have strong written, verbal, and editing abilities with experience creating diverse content across multiple channels.
  • Experience:
    • 3-7 years of experience as an AI/ML practitioner and/or developer relationships (DevRel) role.
    • 1-3 years of experience in technical writing or content marketing.

Must Have Skills
  • Hands-on experience developing content for AI/ML practitioners or a similar data-centric audience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an ability to write clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. You thrive in fast-paced environments, keeping content creation on track and ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables.
  • Familiarity with social media and forum platforms where the AI/ML community is most active, email marketing, and other content distribution channels.

Salary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $139,000 - $201,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
