Saint Mary's College is seeking a dynamic and strategic Content and Marketing Manager to join our vibrant community. This role is crucial in amplifying the College's mission, vision, and values through compelling content and innovative marketing strategies.
The Content and Marketing Manager contributes to overall Marketing Department strategies through project planning and content creation across both traditional and digital platforms, and is the key liaison for marketing summer academic programs and camps.
Job Description
The Content and Marketing Manager works closely with a tight-knit team of 8-10 marketing and communications professionals, helping to manage and drive content and marketing strategy for the College. This role will help to elevate the College's overall brand and storytelling through content creation and implementation in a spectrum of communications channels, including web, social media, collateral and paid advertising, among others.
The Content and Marketing Manager understand and substantially contributes to meeting the strategic goals of student recruitment, development, and summer academic programs and camps, among other areas, researches and writes content for multiple promotional channels, including website, email, social media, advertising, collateral, and others. This position will collaborate with Marketing and campus partners to develop and execute strategies to promote summer academic programs and camps, and is generally available during the key weeks of summer programming in June and July. Duties include attending all meetings relating to summer academic camps and programming, managing its promotional calendar, creates and manages content for web and social media, tracks and reports outcomes, coordinates photography and video production for promotional purposes, and more.
The Content and Marketing Manager manages the Event Pages and Camps section of the College website, researches and innovates new and effective strategies to reach audiences, conducts and tracks email and paid advertising campaigns, both and print digital, and creates content for social media and writes stories and other content for main College website.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Ability to develop concepts and write copy for a variety of tactical channels in both persuasive and informative voices
- Ability to develop effective and collaborative working relationships with faculty, staff, media, students, alumnae, and other key constituents
- Minimum of two years of social media, marketing, communications, and/or sales experience, or related education.
- Experience with web editing tools
- Direct experience in managing a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Experience in the use of design, photo editing, and video editing tools
- Familiarity with social media reporting and web analytics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to think and plan strategically as part of a team, and to work with little supervision
- Eagerness to learn new skills, including Drupal website platform, Trello, Sprout Social, iModules, Resource Space and other team software and cloud-based tools
