About the Role
As the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity Legal Content Analyst, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Designing, owning, and executing the content upkeep process for the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice areas.
- Performing legal research and editorial tasks associated with updating existing Practical Guidance content.
- Monitoring current awareness and staying abreast of changes in law.
- Drafting or revising content, including templates, practice notes, and checklists.
- Overseeing and executing Practical Guidance content remediation projects focused on improving the customer experience.
- Acquiring a firm understanding of editorial processes/style guidelines and enforcing best practices.
- Improving operational effectiveness by standardizing and streamlining processes, creating documentation, and making recommendations for continuous improvement in editorial workflow.
- Meeting or exceeding production and quality requirements.
- Participating in training as required and performing additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position must:
- Have a Juris Doctorate degree and two+ years of practice experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
- Be adept at maintaining an organized workflow while ensuring accuracy through close attention to detail.
- Have knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and Bluebook citation rules.
- Be able to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing business demands.
- Show interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess technical aptitude.
- Be a curious learner with a demonstrated growth mindset.
