The Assistant Director of Broadcast and Creative Content reports directly to the Director of Broadcast and Creative Content. UVM is seeking a qualified candidate that assists in the development of the department's digital and social media efforts as it relates to graphic design, photography and videography to tell the story of UVM Athletics 18 Division I teams while meeting brand standards. The chosen candidate will also play an integral role in Vermont's broadcasting efforts on ESPN+. The hourly position (overtime eligible) is slated to run through May 23.

  • Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attending and shooting various team practices, filming press conferences, attending all home games for content creation, assisting with ESPN+ broadcast preparation, staffing broadcast positions for ESPN+, occasional travel with assigned teams.
  • Work in concert with various administrators, coaching staffs, athletic marketing, ticket personnel, Vermont Sport Properties, constituents on and off campus.
  • Candidates should have experience creating content for a sports team or organization.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere is preferred.
  • Candidates should be well-versed in social media and are expected to curate posts from their assigned practices, games or public events
