Responsibilities: As a Community Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our property. Your responsibilities include:

  • Market and lease available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build connections with residents
  • Manage rent collection, deposits, and lease administration using Onesite software
  • Market available units and maintain a waitlist of prospective residents
  • Oversee renovation and preparation of vacant units for rental
  • Bid and negotiate service contracts, procure building supplies, and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure property maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner
  • Respond to resident requests and complaints with efficiency and courtesy

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of multi-family property management experience
  • One year of management experience with a successful track record in leasing and renewal rates
  • LIHTC experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills (OneSite experience is a plus)
  • Bilingual in Marshallese is a PLUS!
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Empathy towards residents and staff while enforcing community rules
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
