Audio Visual Technician Job at Bernard Nickels & Associates in Chicago

Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 to 45 hours per week

Pay Range: $28 to $35 per hour

Overview: This position will provide A/V support to conference rooms, prepare conference rooms for upcoming presentations, perform post-conference check for conference room, present client-supplied briefing materials using installed or client-furnished A/V equipment, display client supplied briefings via PowerPoint, video, projectors, and audio PA systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate a wide variety of VTC equipment to include cameras, microphones, audio and video playback, recording, and duplication devices

• Conduct routine operational tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems and equipment

• Reserve, schedule, and setup A/V equipment as required

• Coordinate requirements with client and distant-end, using the appropriate software to update reservations database

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required. College degree preferred.

• 4+ years of relevant experience

• Hands-on experience with Crestron hardware, Cisco cameras and codecs, and Biamp DSPs

• Knowledge of what a LAN is and how to troubleshoot network related issues
