As a Lead I&E Designer at Burrow Global, you will operate under detailed instructions and review, providing essential technical knowledge and performing tasks to support our services. As an employee, you will gain hands-on experience in the development and execution of I&E designs.

Operating under detailed instructions and review, this position's purpose is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed.

This role promotes Burrow Global Services' competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position aims to design and perform the layout of a complex scope and may serve as the Design Area Lead. Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to complex problems by organization and/or project objectives and guidelines. Prepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of advanced complexity. Develop and review specifications, including design criteria. Review drawings and vendor equipment documentation of advanced complexity within and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements and actively seek discrepancy resolution. Supervise development and checking of complex drawings, including instrument index, instrument location plans, isometrics, and sketches. Develop estimates and schedules, progress reports, and workforce forecasts. Provide guidance/assistance to project managers, designers, and Drafters. Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations. Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures. Basic Job Requirements

A combination of education and directly related experience equal to fifteen (15) years Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) Practical field experience Intermediate computer and software skills include word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs.
