HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Varsity Spirit is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our Varsity Spirit Marketing team in Memphis, TN.

The Email Marketing Manager will drive the overall B2B email and SMS strategy, execution, and performance analysis across Varsity Spirit's B2B cheer, dance and band apparel businesses, including the creation and implementation of SFMC business units for 2 new apparel workstreams to support exciting growth initiatives within Varsity Performing Arts (VPA). The Email Marketing Manager will manage, at minimum, four campaign workflows to meet the unique needs of the individual apparel brands. This role will be critical in establishing insights and metrics to facilitate strategic ways to proactively improve current marketing campaigns, introduce new campaigns as a result of VPA implementation and identify breakthrough opportunities for new email and SMS communications.

A Day in the Life:

Campaign Strategy:

Develop and execute B2B email marketing and SMS campaigns to engage and nurture our audience across multiple business units including Varsity SpiritFashion, Varsity All Star Fashion, Stanbury Uniforms and Directors Showcase International.Develop campaign briefs to outline timing, audience and segmentation, A/B and multivariate testing, creative direction, copy and key messaging, and KPIs.Manage creation and optimization of automated marketing campaigns, including email drip campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and triggered responses.Collaborate with sales teams to create campaign calendars that prioritize business initiatives.Create engaging and persuasive email copy that resonates with the target audience.Create, maintain, and optimize lead forms.Campaign Optimization:

Partner with Marketing Technology team and key stakeholders to implement and execute Salesforce Marketing Cloud for two new business units.Utilize dynamic content and personalization to enhance engagement.Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to enhance email effectiveness and drive more qualified leads.Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to optimize performance.Performance Analysis:

Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and continuously improve campaigns based on results.Use data insights to make data-driven decisions and recommend improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness.Regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading global brands and other internal email marketers to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas.QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Experience marketing to large B2B audiences preferred, but not required.Ability to report on campaign success and provide strategic recommendations to increase KPIs.Knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketing CloudExcellent copywriting skills.Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate and execute multiple tasks in a lean, fast-paced, results-driven environment.Ability to communicate cross-functionally amongst key stakeholders and drive results through collaboration.A background in fashion, cheerleading, dance, or band preferred, but not required.Creativity, passion, integrity, and energyEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldMinimum of 4 years of marketing or communications experience required.Email marketing experience required (Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, MailChimp or other comparable ESP).Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool, as necessary. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC's, laptop, telephone will be required.

During events, the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
