Overview:

Job Summary:

The Director of Paid Search (PPC) Advertising will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive paid search strategy that drives significant online traffic, leads, and revenue for Apex Service Partner companies. This role will require a deep understanding of Google Ads, Bing Ads, display advertising, and landing page optimization, as well as strong analytical and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and have at least 8 years of experience working with these platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive paid search strategy aligned with overall business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate paid search budgets effectively to maximize ROAS while maintaining volume.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant keywords and target audiences.
  • Ad Copy Development: Supervise the creation and testing of compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences and drives conversions.
  • Landing Page Optimization: Collaborate with the website team to optimize landing pages for maximum conversion rates.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of paid search specialists to ensure efficient and effective campaign execution and accountability to benchmark KPIs.
  • Toolset Selection: Evaluate and select enterprise-appropriate tool(s) for managing and tracking campaigns efficiently at scale.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in paid search advertising.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience working with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and display advertising.
  • Strong understanding of paid search advertising principles, including keyword research, bid management, and ad targeting.
  • Proven track record of driving successful paid search campaigns and achieving measurable results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of Home Services sector a plus.
  • Proven experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
