We are looking for a Senior Communication ArchitectureAnalyst(Senior Engineering Specialist - Modeling & SimulationEngineering)that will make use of sophisticated simulation tools in supportof requirements verification, analyses-of-alternatives (AoA), andperformance modeling for space-based communications architectures. Thistechnical leader will mentor early- and mid-career staff, especially in theareas of effective engagement with customers, career development,teamwork, collaboration, analysis techniques, and data visualization.Work Model:This full-time position requires 100% onsite work in El Segundo, CA,Chantilly, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO.What You'll Be DoingProvide analysis to support recommendations for research, development, andacquisition decisions oflegacy and emerging customer space communicationsarchitecturesincluding related ground systems and supporting technologies.Independently translate customer needs into project objectives andinstructions for analysts, assemble and lead multi-disciplinary technicalteams, coordinate complex technical tasks among team members, track teamperformance, and review team products for quality and accuracy.Develop and present timely and technically-accurate presentations and reportsthat clearly communicate analysis results and provide recommended solutions totechnical leads, management, and customers.Aid in sustainment, development, and growth of the organization'sanalysis and simulation capabilities to support new functional areas for ourdiverse customer base.Independently develop and strengthen relationships with senior program officemanagers and customer senior leadership.What You Need to be SuccessfulSenior Communication Architecture Analyst SeniorEngineering Specialist - Modeling & Simulation EngineeringBachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, operationsresearch, mathematics12 years of increasingly responsible engineering experience.Knowledge in one of these specific national security space or intelligencemission areas: geo-spatial intelligence, signals intelligence, spacesurveillance, space protection, ground systems, or communicationsinfrastructure supporting defense or intelligence capabilities.Demonstratedtechnical leadership, personal ac ountability, andadaptability to changing customer expectations.Proficiency in astrodynamics or space operations.Experience with one or more software languages that may include Python,C++, or MATLAB.This position requires a current and activeTS/SCIsecurity clearance, whichis issued by...
