YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Customs Manager you will be responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs and Border Protection for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers. As well as the coordination of Mexican Brokerage, Transportation and drayage out of Mexico.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Impeccable customer servicePerform audit review on all assigned brokerage files and payments to customsMaintain and keep current all customs compliance documentationProcess documents through the Company's ACE system, obtaining Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate.Arrange both delivery and the invoicing of the import account for services renderedReview and monitor all Customs rejections, requests for information for clients and any other government agency, and other correspondence.Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulationsMonitor JavaDocs interfaceMandatory daily correspondence with overseas officesWork closely with other departments to deliver high level of service to customersPerform other duties as assignedCoordinate transportation with our Road Logistics department for pick upsBilling packages and billing accuracyCoordinate with administrative department for check payments and financial releases from CFSYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
1+ years' experience working in a Customs Brokerage operation1+ years' Customer Service experienceYou have the ability to work in office 5 days per weekYou have the ability to work 1 Saturday per monthYou have solid knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and ocean ports along with basic knowledge of U.S. Regulatory Laws
