The Digital Content Manager is responsible for developing, creating and executing ayear-long social strategy that drives business objectives (fan engagement and growth,revenue, promotion of team, sponsors, community, etc) with a wide variety of content forour social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok. We're looking for someone who is creative, on top of social media trends, has a keen eye for detail, is organized, and can be the "keeper" of our social media voice and brand. This role implements content across all digital channels and is constantly bringing new ideas on how to engage with audiences across platforms. The ideal candidate for this position should understand each platform intimately and recognize how they individually drive our overall goals.Preferred Skills and Attributes:-Proactive and collaborative mindset-Previous experience in working with professional social media accounts,preferably someone who has run social media operations for a business account.-Sports social media management is a big plus.-Creativity and ability to create engaging, ahead of the trend, content.-Experienced with graphic design, content capture/creation, and video editingusing various tools and equipment.-Knowledge of analytic capture and data-informed reporting and solutionsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-Oversee and manage digital channels with constant engagement including thedevelopment and implementation of brand tone for each audience and channel.-Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams to create, write, publish,design imagery, engage fans, and update weekly content across all digitalchannels including but not limited to social media, website, advertising, andpromotional campaigns.-Manage and monitor analytics across all digital channels to better inform futuredigital marketing efforts and communicate those insights and results to theorganization.-Proactively seek new opportunities or co-promotion for social media engagementas well as gameday coverage with current and potential partners.-Collaborate with internal teams (front office staff, players and manager/coachingstaff, team photographer) and external parties (sponsors,influencers, etc) on all sales and promotional content and develop salesstrategies utilizing digital platforms for outreach and execution.-Maintain and manage the accounts including the development of a postingcadence for each channel/platform.QUALIFICATIONS-Knowledge of core social media platforms especially in(but not limited to) Instagram, Facebook, X, and Tik Tok, as well as creative platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Premiere, and Microsoft Office.-Highly detail-oriented; able to proof their own work as well as act as quality control/editor for the work of freelancers, seasonal staff, and other full-time employees.-Excellent communication and people skills.-Able to perform responsibilities/tasks under pressure with ongoing tightdeadlines.-Able to accept and apply constructive criticism and feedback with multiple roundsof edits required by executive management and ownership of the organization.-Must have good time management skills and be able to handle multiple taskssimultaneously.-Organized and self-starter.-Possess drive and passion for excellence.-Willingness and ability to work in- and off-season including nights and weekends, including games.-Strong writing and problem-solving skills.-CoachabilityPART TIME MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO PHYSICALLY MEET AT BATON ROUGE OFFICE AT A MINIMUM OF ONCE A WEEK.
